Sally Hansen Sugar Coat - Swatch and Nail Art
Hey everyone! I have been really craving a texture mani lately and I just got these Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polishes that everyone was raving about! I also really wanted to try out the iKat nail design, as soon as I seen it on someone else I just knew I had to try it and share it with you guys and knew I had to combo these two ideas together.
These are the two colours that I have and from what I know about these two, I freaking love these polishes! These are my first textured polishes and I was a little worried thats it would be scratchy and I wouldn't like it or it would chip or take a long time to dry.
I was completely wrong!
I fell in love! I cannot keep my hands off of my nails. I also love that they dry super fast and to a semi matte finish. Also this mani lasted me over 5 days without chipping. I was totally shocked because if you want to keep the textured look you cant use a top coat, and without a topcoat this lasted me over 5 days! Thats seriously amazing!
I would totally recommend doing one coat and waiting a couple minutes for it to dry so you dont drag any texture off your nail. Here I used 2 Coats of pink and black and it was perfectly opaque and has plenty of texture.
I also used Sally Hansen 'White On' and 'Mint Sorbet' from the 'Xtreme' line and just put thin coats of those and it didn't ruin the texture at all. I really loved how the iKat design came out with the textured polishes.
