Sally Hansen *Spark!*
Hey guys, so I just wanted to share with you a MINI haul I did.
This is also my blue mani for Autism Awareness month!
So I heard of the store called 'Factory Direct' before but I never knew they sold polish! So I did some research and found one around the corner from my house tucked away in a plaza, and I had never seen it there before!
I swear it had to be the smallest, crappiest store I have been in, in a very long time. I took a look around at the rest of their junk, finally I came across the polish. I was glad to see they had something because I was looking around and didn't see a sign of polish! So I am grateful they had some. They only had a couple brands including Essie, and they had about 10 bottles of the same Essie color. I picked it up for $2 or something because I didn't have it.
I seen this Sally Hansen blue color and its called 'Spark'. I loved this color it has teeny tiny purple shimmer in it. I initially thought it was blue but when I got it home I noticed the purple shimmer and I was soooo happy I picked this up! BONUS, It came with the Mega Shine Extended wear Top Coat for free and I got both for $2, so you cant really go wrong there. I am really happy I found this color!
This is what the color looked like in the store, I thought it was a dark blue and came with a bonus polish so I picked it up.
When I got it home, I seen this in the light and was amazed. I loved this color before I knew it looked like this but after I realized I fell in love with it. Its so unique to me and I have never seen something like it.
This polish was nice and thin and was really easy to apply and you only really needed one coat for full coverage, but on the second coat I realized the purple really 'popped' when I added the second coat. Also this is with no top coat.
I hope you like my daisy nail art just in time for spring! It was so nice out today here in Toronto it inspired me to do this mani. (Still a bit chilly to go outside and enjoy the weather, but getting close! )
This is with a flash, you cant even tell there is purple in there.
This is what I seen when I had purchased this polish.
This is the color 'Spark' with the Sally Hansen Mega Shine Extended wear top coat.
Overall I really enjoyed this color and the consistency was perfect enough to apply a perfect coat in only one coat of polish. I would recommend two coats if you want to see more of the purple shimmer. Also I noticed it looks and feels like a gel polish after it dries its still super shiny. So I liked both of these polishes individually and together. I am going to try and see how long I can wear this mani to see if the topcoat holds up.
What did you think of my Daisy nail art?! Also, do you have a
factory direct near you and how was your experience there?
